The Sarcasm Queen.
Come for the headlines. Stay for the side comments.
Lindsey Vernick didn't set out to become a podcast host. She set out to understand the news. Unfortunately, that's a full-time job that pays nothing and comes with an alarming number of push notifications.
Back in college, circa 2016, she started a text chain with family and friends to talk about the news, pop culture, and whatever ridiculous thing had happened that day. The text chain became an email chain. The email chain somehow survived adulthood.
For years, Lindsey spent her mornings doing what she does best: reading the headlines, filtering out the nonsense, and delivering the highlights with a healthy dose of sarcasm.
Then, in 2025, she had a thought: if people were still reading these emails after all this time, maybe it was time to buy a microphone.

Lindsey Vernick is the voice I didn't know I needed to get through the news cycle.
Finally, someone who's as exhausted by the headlines as I am — but funnier about it.
I started listening to feel less alone in my outrage. Now I just laugh.
